From The Campground

Upper Tonto Creek Campground is located in Tonto National Forest and offers 9 campsites for tent camping. The campground is closed for the season and will reopen in April. The campground is situated near Tonto and Horton Creeks, which offer fishing opportunities. Nearby Horton Creek Trail and Derrick Trail provide access to the Highline National Recreation Trail (#31). The campground has vault toilets and drinking water. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a leash. The campground has a 14-day stay limit and no OHV recreational riding is allowed within the campground.
